A little bit about Edgard & Cooper:

Once upon a time, our founders wanted to feed their dogs - Edgard and Cooper – pet food they could feel good about. The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets. But they couldn’t find anything that was quite right. So….to cut a long story short, they decided to make their own!

Today, 4.5 years later, Edgard & Cooper has sold over 5 million bags of food, hired over 100 people across Europe and made lots and lots of dogs & cats (and their owners) feel good!

What type of breed are we looking for? 🐕

Do you act like Switzerland in discussions, understanding both sides? Do you first need to see it before you believe it? Do you thank your curiosity for never getting bored and are your continuously intrigued by your pet’s behaviour? Great, keep on reading then. 

We are looking for an experienced CMI Marketeer to join our Brand Development Squad. You will carry the voice of the consumer within our organisation, translating  their needs into brand development opportunities. You create a learning network with internal and external stakeholders, empowering the pack with consumer insights and market intelligence. 

What will be in your bowl? 🥗

In short, you get tails wiggling by bringing customer-centricity into brand development:

  • Leverage primary and secondary research, with strong focus on qual
  • Manage the entire research project from a clear objective to insightful reporting
  • Gain a clear understanding of key trends and factors that drive consumer behaviour and use this knowledge to create concepts and products that exceed pet owners' needs 
  • Be the voice of the consumer in everything we do and continuously challenge the brand to enhance our customer centricity 
  • We’re a scale up, you’re a CMI Marketeer – life if full of surprises, so we might throw in some other fun stuff to do.

What skills & tricks should you bring? 🤹

  • Minimum 2 years experience in market research, preferably in the qualitative department 
  • You are the proud owner of a Master's Degree
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch or French, impress us with your lingual diversity
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a proficient understanding of quantitative research techniques and tools (e.g. SPSS, Excel, ..)
  • You are intrigued by consumer behaviour and love to spy on people 
  • A passion for brands and are the first one to spot the challengers in the market
  • No need to have 4 legs & a tail, you don’t have to be perfect.
