A little bit about Edgard & Cooper:

Once upon a time, our founders wanted to feed their dogs - Edgard and Cooper – pet food they could feel good about. The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets. But they couldn’t find anything that was quite right. So….to cut a long story short, they decided to make their own!

Today, 5.5 years later, Edgard & Cooper has sold over 10 million bags of food, hired over 100 people across Europe and made lots and lots of dogs & cats (and their owners) feel good!

We are looking for a highly motivated leader to build and drive our People strategy and shape our organisational structure as we scale & grow. You’ll be a designer, a builder and and implementer of processes and systems with the goal of creating a pawesome place to work.

What will be in your bowl? 🥗

As our Head of People, you will partner and support the growth of the organisation. You will report directly into one of our Founders and will lead the People Pack consisting of Talent, People Project, Warehouse HR, Office & our Payroll Squad. 

A day in the life of could consist of:

  • Develop & improve a global People strategy that fosters engagement, performance, wellbeing and retention across our global pack, whilst aligning with our ambitions.
  • Build an organisational design that facilitates the steep growth of the company and provide guidance towards our people leaders and founders.
  • Drive and shape data driven people priorities and plans through leading an end-to-end roadmap, to build a unique and sustainable team experience & effectiveness.
  • Be an inspirational leader to the people pack and nurture an innovative & passionate international team of 7.
  • You will champion our values and culture and make sure that all your work aligns back to our purpose.

What skills & tricks should you bring? 🤹

  • Ideally you have solid experience as a global Head of People in fast-growing businesses (10+ years of  experience)
  • You have a strong People background in all areas – Designing programs, Employee Relations, Remuneration Analysis, Employee Engagement, Organisational Design, Performance Management, Talent Mapping etc.
  • You are a lover of technology & people data – we use BambooHR for our HR system, TeamTailor as our Application Tracking System and are looking for someone with a strong background using technology & software to embed programs and processes.
  • You have the ability to influence, establish and maintain strong relationships with senior management & have experience as a trusted advisor to senior pack leaders globally.

Ideal start date

Recruitment processFirst, you will be invited to a phone screen with a member of our Talent team. Then you will go through 2 competency-based interview rounds with various stakeholders & including a case study. And finally, you will meet the team!
