Our mission 🚀

In 2016, our founders wanted to feed their dogs - named Edgard and Cooper - pet food they could feel good about. The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets. But when they couldn't find this, they decided to make their own. Now, 6 years later, our pack has 200 employees and we are beyond proud to be part of the B Corp movement.

What type of breed are we looking for? 🐕

We are looking for an enthusiastic pet lover who likes to be creative and think outside the box. As the Events & Demos intern for Belgium, you will have your own responsibilities and projects, making an impact from Day 1. Do you have some nose-to-tail planning skills, with a beady eye for detail and are willing to get stuck in? You will play a central role in organising and supporting our events and fairs in Belgium, as well as analysing the demo skills of our students. WARNING: you may have to handle some very cute dogs… 

What will be in your bowl? 🥗

As a Field marketing intern, you will be a great support to the marketing team in Belgium and work very closely with the whole squad (sales manager, trade & shopper, field sales, our student pack,...). You will have your own responsibilities and projects.

You will help coordinating the Meet 'n Treat, our biggest dogfestival in Belgium, as well as other events and our weekly demos. Together with the Field marketing manager, you will create event & demo materials, in collaboration with external partners, the logistics team and the marketing team. You will work very closely with our design team in order to create remarkable ideas to support our projects.

Before or after an event, it's also very critical to make a good analysis of our data. You don't have to be an excel wizzard, but you should me able to manage the basics.

And don’t forget, at Edgard & Cooper we are a fast-growing company – life is full of surprises, so we might throw in some other commercial, creative and fun stuff to do.

What skills & tricks should you bring? 🤹

• You love pets, of course!
• You are a hungry marketing-sales genius, looking for a new challenge
• You are available for at least 3 months
• You are still enrolled in a university or business school and you are studying towards a Bachelor/Master’s Degree
• You have excellent event skills
• You have good time-management skills with a problem-solving and “can do” attitude
• You are at least bilingual: Dutch and/or French + English
• Having other marketing-sales related experiences in a real plus!
