In 2016, our founders wanted to feed their dogs - named Edgard and Cooper - pet food they could feel good about. The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets. But when they couldn't find this, they decided to make their own. Now, 6 years later, our pack has 200 employees and we are beyond proud to be part of the B Corp movement.

We’re looking for a passionate digital content intern to join the European digital team in Kortrijk (BE).

You’ll be reporting to me, hello, nice to meet you. I’m the content producer at Edgard & Cooper and started here 4 years ago as a junior content creator. Can’t wait to create content together!

What will be in your bowl? 🥗

Content Creation

Every day will be different in our content creation team. Phew, because we creative creatures hate monotonous work. Your creativity will be happy to hear we have plenty of brainstorms you’ll participate in. Not only will you be coming up with exciting ideas, but together with the team, you’ll also be executing them.

Storyboarding, feedback sessions, working with top-class designers, filming content on the iPhone in various locations… It’s all part of the exciting content creation process. You’ll be working on both content for organic social media posts and paid advertising campaigns. If these terms are new to you, start paying attention in class! Just kidding, we’re here to help you learn. And boy, will you be leaving with a pile of wisdom.

Copywriting

Every ad or post comes with a bit of copy. Duh! We expect you to write this yourself - in English, of course. We write copy in Italian, Spanish, French, Dutch and German too, but don’t worry, we’ve got some great translators you’ll be briefing into. If anything, you’ll learn a bit of every language. Isn’t that a bonus?

If you have a massive love for writing, you can also write as many blogs as you like. Really, the option is yours. Coaching at your service!

Shoots

Now this part excites me the most, so I can’t wait to get you on my shoot train. Shoot shoot! (read as: choo choo). As a producer, I spend 50% of my time organising photo- and video shoots so we have all the material to make some great content. You’ll help me find the right props, set up briefings, dress the locations, and work with the actors - which are 99% of the time dogs and cats, of course! I don’t expect you to have much experience - just a bunch of enthusiasm to learn more about it.

What skills & tricks should you bring? 🤹

• You love cats and dogs!
• You are available for at least 3 months.
• You have excellent (verbal and written) communication skills.
• You are fluent in English. Dutch is a bonus!
• You have a strong passion for social media and content creation.
• You love brainstorming and working in a team. But can also take responsibility and work independently.
• You are interested in dipping your toes in the shoot world.
