The story so far...
Once upon a time, our founders wanted to feed their dogs, Edgard and Cooper, pet food they could feel good about. The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets. But they couldn’t find anything that was quite right. So they decided to make their own!
Today, 8 years later, Edgard & Cooper has sold over 7 million bags of food, hired over 200 people across Europe and we continue to make you, your pet and our planet feel good.
Culture
We call ourselves 'the pack' because we stick together. We are a bunch of animal-loving, purpose-driven pals! Working here means working in an international and supportive team where everyone has a voice. We’re big fans of curiosity and learning on the job, and if you want to join a fast-growing team and want to make a 'pawsitive' impact in the world then we might just have the role for you!
Just like our dogs – Edgard and Cooper – we’re friendly, fun and we look out for each other! Let’s raise the 'woof' together?

Sustainability matters
Sustainability matters
If you’re like us, you care about both pets and the planet. We’re a nature-loving pack on our way to become the most sustainable pet food brand in Europe. As part of our Zero Pawprint Plan, we have taken several steps with our portfolio to reduce our impact on the planet.
-
We are switching to paper-based bags, and saying no to plastic pouches.
-
We’re not fully there yet but we’re on a journey towards 100% ethical sourcing and adding more transparent sourcing information to our packaging.
-
We’re working to reduce the impact of our ingredients on the planet by choosing lower carbon intensive sources and adding the carbon footprint to every recipe on the front of each pack.
THE EDGARD & COOPER FOUNDATION
So far, with the help of our 12 charity partners, we’ve helped to improve the lives of more than 100,000 pets in need. But, we’re only just getting started and have big ambitions to do even more - from local volunteering days to adding new charity partners and causes in need of vital funding and attention
-
DONATING 1% OF SALES
We’re commited to donating 1% of
our sales each year to the Edgard
& Cooper Foundation. In 2022 this
resulted in a donation of over
€600,000. -
80.000+ VACCINATIONS
We’ve helped support vaccination and
neutering programs across Sri Lanka,
Chile, Bolivia and Afghanistan.
Our support for vital rabies vaccination schemes has helped to eradicate rabies entirely from Kabul, Afghanistan. -
100+ NEW VETS TRAINED

Online assessment
The assessment, provided by TestGorilla, evaluates your skills and abilities. We do the assessment early in the process to help determine role compatibility. Results are shared openly, no matter what. It's a win-win, helping us decide and giving you useful insights
Intro call
After a positive assessment result, we would like to dive into your career and motivation by going over your resume and assessment results together. Typically, this call will happen online with the Talent Acquisition Specialist, Bieke. It takes around 20 to 30 minutes.
Competency based interview
The goal of this interview is to clarify the role and responsibilities, while the hiring manager gains a deeper understanding of your skills and compatibility with the team. This interview is led by the hiring manager and lasts about an hour.
Case study
The case study can be part of the competency-based interview or take place separately, lasting around 1 hour, depending on the role. It's centered on evaluating skills and potential, providing you with a valuable insight into the job content.
Meet the Pack lead or one of the Founders
For senior positions, the Pack lead or founder is introduced in the hiring procedure. This meeting creates a space where the candidate and lead/founder can discuss expectations.
Offer
Both parties are enthusiastic? You’ll receive an e-mail with an offer. When the contract is signed, you can expect some fun Edgard & Cooper goodies at home to welcome you to our team. The dogs are already waiting for you at the office.
