Driving agile demand planning for seamless delivery and happy tails!
Demand Planner 🎯
Belgium, Kortrijk
Our mission 🚀
In 2016, our founders wanted to feed their dogs - named Edgard and Cooper - pet food they could feel good about. The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets. But when they couldn't find this, they decided to make their own. Now, 8 years later, our pack has 200 employees and we are beyond proud to be part of the B Corp movement.

What type of breed are we looking for? 🐕
You’ll lead demand planning across operational, tactical, and strategic horizons, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to improve forecast accuracy. You’ll manage monthly demand reviews with sales teams and drive DSS (Demand-Supply Sync) for agile planning.
As the demand pillar owner in PEAK (S&OP/IBP), you’ll provide key inputs, track forecasting KPIs, and improve processes to ensure on-time and in-full delivery to our furry customers, while aligning with business goals.
What will be in your bowl? 🥗
- You will take ownership of demand planning across operational, tactical, and strategic horizons, collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain. Key inputs such as seasonality, historical sales, and projected growth will guide your forecasts.
- Your primary focus will be on improving forecast accuracy across all planning horizons. You will assess and optimize forecasting methods regularly to ensure alignment with business goals and market realities, ultimately driving improved accuracy in demand planning.
- You will lead demand review meetings, conducting monthly check-ins with Sales to ensure alignment on forecasts, address discrepancies, and make adjustments based on the latest market insights and business needs.
- You will co-lead DSS (Demand and Supply Synchronization) efforts, organizing weekly syncs with the Supply Planner to ensure close alignment between demand and supply, enabling a responsive and agile approach to meeting demand in real-time.
- As the owner of the demand pillar within the PEAK (S&OP/IBP) process, you will provide essential inputs for the strategic cycle. This involves consolidating data, analyzing trends, and facilitating discussions to align on demand forecasts and support critical decisions in supply and production planning.
- You will track and monitor forecast accuracy, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast bias and demand variability, and take corrective actions when needed to improve forecasting outcomes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that demand planning for new product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal events is precise and aligned with business priorities.
- You’ll actively contribute to process improvements, identifying opportunities to optimize forecasting methods, planning tools, and reporting systems to enhance overall demand planning efficiency and effectiveness.
- You will ensure continuous communication and alignment with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure that changes in market conditions, customer behavior, and promotions are reflected in forecasts.
- You will be responsible for setting up and optimizing both periodical and ad hoc reports, delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders and supporting decision-making across the organization.
