What type of breed are we looking for?
In this job you will provide essential operational and administrative support to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team, working closely with demand planners and various cross-functional stakeholders. At E&C, the IBP team ensures optimal alignment between commercial forecasts, supply capabilities, and business priorities/goals, and also leads the Operations coordination of our new product introductions (NPIs). You’ll help keep our forecasting processes, planning cycles, and NPI projects running smoothly by supporting with data, meeting prep, coordination, and execution. It’s a hands-on role in a collaborative, fast-paced team where you’ll have a real impact on day-to-day operations and strategic planning.
What is in your bowl?
- Execute forecast updates in the forecasting tool, including adjustments for promotions, corrections, and other business inputs.
- Support the demand planner by conducting forecast analyses and aligning on necessary changes.
- Assist in the preparation of review meeting materials (e.g., Demand Review, Supply Review, Business Review decks).
- Take meeting notes and share key actions and decisions with relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Help with scheduling, meeting planning, and logistical arrangements as needed.
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the whole Operations team to enhance overall team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support data gathering, validation, and reporting activities related to demand and supply planning.
- Maintain documentation and process trackers to ensure information is up-to-date and accessible.
- Follow up on action items with stakeholders to support meeting outcomes and planning cycles.
- Support the IPB responsible for New Product Introductions (NPIs) by providing administrative and, when needed, operational assistance.
- Help coordinate tasks and follow-up related to NPI timelines, documentation, and cross-functional input.
- Support Customer Service team with order entry
- Support Supply Chain team with inventory monitoring across the sites and with scheduling of shuttle transportation
What skills and tricks should you bring
- Bachelor degree or equivalent reasoning capabilities.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a strong plus.
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a logistics, planning, supply chain, or internal sales environment.
- You are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- You have strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- You can work in a structured and methodical way, even under pressure.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You are comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Experience with demand planning processes or forecasting tools is a major
- advantage.
- You possess strong analytical skills and enjoy working with numbers and data.
