📓About the Role
Are you an experienced accountant with a passion for numbers and optimization? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a motivated Accountant to join our team, responsible not only for daily accounting tasks but also for actively contributing to the improvement of processes and systems within the accounting department for our Belgian and international entities.
🍵What is in your bowl?
Processing daily accounting transactions (purchases, payroll, VAT, monthly and yearly closings)
Preparing audit files and supporting audits for both local and international entities
Initiating and leading optimization projects within the accounting team (digitization, automation, process improvement)
Acting as a point of contact for accounting-related questions within the organization
Managing the accounting for several foreign entities in addition to the Belgian head office
Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders such as controlling, IT, and external partners.
🤹What skills and tricks should you bring?
Bachelor degree in a financial field (accounting, economics, business administration, etc.).
At least 3 years of relevant experience in an accounting role.
Experience with project work or process optimization is a strong asset.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP) is a plus.
